La Familia Burrón

La Familia Burrón is one of Mexico’s best-loved comic strips. It was created by Gabriel Vargas (1915–2010) and published for about six decades from the late 1940s.

It follows the barber Regino Burrón, his witty wife Borola and their working-class neighborhood in Mexico City, and became a chronicle of popular urban life.
