Teatro Juárez

The Teatro Juárez, in the historic centre of the city of Guanajuato, is one of the most beautiful theatres of the Porfiriato. It opened in 1903 with a gala attended by Porfirio Díaz, and its façade is famous for its columns and bronze statues of the Muses.

Today it is the main venue of the Festival Internacional Cervantino, held in Guanajuato every autumn.
