Pachuca is the capital of Hidalgo, located in a highland mining region northeast of Mexico City. Its history is closely tied to silver mining and British influence.

The city is called La Bella Airosa because strong winds blow through the area for much of the year. “Airosa” evokes both the windy climate and the city’s graceful character.
