Palacio de Correos (Postal Palace)

The Palacio de Correos de México, or Postal Palace, is the lavish central post office in Mexico City’s Historic Centre. Italian architect Adamo Boari designed it, and Porfirio Díaz inaugurated it in 1907, during the building boom of the late Porfiriato; it still works as a post office.

It stands opposite the Palacio de Bellas Artes, also begun by Boari but not inaugurated until 1934.
