Who was killed along with Francisco Madero?

José María Pino Suárez was Mexico’s vice president under Francisco I. Madero, the leader who had sparked the Revolution of 1910 and become president after the fall of Porfirio Díaz. In February 1913, during the military coup known as the Decena Trágica (Ten Tragic Days), General Victoriano Huerta seized power.

Madero and Pino Suárez were forced to resign and were shot on February 22, 1913. Their assassination triggered a new, bloodier phase of the Mexican Revolution against Huerta’s regime.
