Teatro Juárez

The Juárez Theater, in the historic center of Guanajuato City, is one of the most beautiful theaters built during the Porfiriato. It was inaugurated in 1903 at a gala attended by President Porfirio Díaz, and its facade is famous for its columns and bronze statues of the muses.

Today it is a main venue of the Festival Internacional Cervantino, the great arts festival held in Guanajuato every autumn.
