Palacio Postal

The Palacio de Correos de México, or Postal Palace, is the ornate main post office in the historic center of Mexico City. It was designed by the Italian architect Adamo Boari and inaugurated in 1907 by President Porfirio Díaz, during the building boom of the late Porfiriato. It still operates as a post office today.

Do not confuse it with the Palacio de Bellas Artes across the street, also begun under Boari during the Porfiriato but not completed and inaugurated until 1934.
