Paco Ignacio Taibo II
Paco Ignacio Taibo II, born in Gijón, Spain, in 1949 and a naturalized Mexican, is a prolific writer and historian, also known for his crime novels and a celebrated biography of Che Guevara. La temporada de zopilotes (2009) is his narrative history of the Decena Trágica, the ten days of February 1913 in which a military coup toppled President Francisco I. Madero, who was then assassinated.
