Carlos Fuentes

Los cinco soles de México (2000) is a personal anthology in which Carlos Fuentes gathers narrative and essay pieces to survey Mexico’s history, from the pre-Hispanic world to the present. Its title refers to the Aztec myth of the five suns, the successive eras of creation in Mexica cosmology.

It is a later work by the same author famous for the novels La región más transparente and La muerte de Artemio Cruz.
