Cámara de Diputados (México)

The Chamber of Deputies is one of the two houses of Mexico’s Congress. Three hundred of its 500 members are elected directly in the electoral districts into which the country is divided, and the remaining 200 by proportional representation; that is why deputies are said to represent the electoral districts.

Don’t confuse them with senators, who represent the states of the federation.
