Citlaltépetl

Citlaltépetl, “star mountain” in Nahuatl, is better known as the Pico de Orizaba. This dormant volcano on the border of Veracruz and Puebla rises about 5,636 meters, making it the highest peak in Mexico and the highest volcano in North America.

Don’t confuse it with Popocatépetl, Mexico’s second-highest peak, which is more famous because of its frequent activity near Mexico City.
