Chihuahua

Chihuahua, in northern Mexico on the border with the United States, covers about 247,000 km², roughly one-eighth of the country, which is why Mexicans say something huge is ‘as big as Chihuahua.’ Sonora and Coahuila follow it in size, while the smallest federal entities are Tlaxcala and Mexico City.
