Cerro de la Silla

The Cerro de la Silla is an iconic mountain overlooking the city of Monterrey, in the northern state of Nuevo León. Its name, “Saddle Hill,” comes from its distinctive silhouette, shaped like a riding saddle.

It is the best-known symbol of Monterrey, appearing in the imagery of the city and its institutions, and it is protected as a natural monument.
