Julio César Chávez

Julio César Chávez, born in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, in 1962, is widely considered the greatest Mexican boxer of all time. He won world titles in three weight divisions and went unbeaten in his first 90 professional fights.

Do not confuse him with his son, the boxer Julio César Chávez Jr., or with later stars such as Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez.
