Which constitution divided New Spain into six provinces?

The Constitution of Cádiz, promulgated in 1812 by the Spanish Cortes during the Napoleonic occupation of Spain, was Spain’s first constitution, drafted with deputies from the Peninsula and from its territories in America and Asia. It applied to New Spain, which it reorganized into six provinces governed through provincial deputations.

Don’t confuse it with the Constitution of Apatzingán (1814), written by the Mexican insurgents, or with the Constitution of 1824, the first constitution of independent Mexico.
