When did women vote for the first time in Mexico?

Mexican women voted in a federal election for the first time on July 3, 1955, when deputies to the national Congress were elected. This followed the constitutional reform of October 17, 1953, under President Adolfo Ruiz Cortines, which granted women full citizenship and the right to vote and run for office.

Be careful not to mix up the two dates: 1953 is when women’s suffrage was recognized, and 1955 is when women actually cast their first federal votes.
