Chihuahua (Chihuahua)

Chihuahua is Mexico’s largest state by area, located in the north along the border with the United States. Its capital city shares the state’s name, a pattern repeated in several Mexican states.

A common trap is Ciudad Juárez: it is the state’s biggest and best-known city because it sits right on the border across from El Paso, Texas, but it is not the capital.
