Enrique Carbajal

Sebastián is the artistic name of Enrique Carbajal González, born in 1947 in Camargo, Chihuahua. He is famous for enormous geometric steel sculptures painted in vivid colors; his best-known work is the yellow ‘El Caballito’ (Cabeza de caballo) on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, and his monumental pieces stand in cities across Mexico and abroad.
