David Alfaro Siqueiros

David Alfaro Siqueiros (1896–1974) was one of the ‘three greats’ of Mexican muralism, together with Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco. A lifelong political activist, he experimented with industrial paints and airbrush techniques; his monumental work ‘The March of Humanity’ covers the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros in Mexico City.

Don’t confuse him with the other two greats: Rivera painted the murals of the National Palace, while Orozco is famous for the Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara.
