Ministry of Culture (Secretaría de Cultura)

The Secretaría de Cultura is the federal ministry responsible for Mexico’s cultural policy. It was created in 2015 from the former Conaculta and coordinates institutions such as INAH and INBAL. It maintains the Cultural Information System (SIC), the official register of the country’s museums, theaters, libraries and other cultural spaces.

According to that source, Mexico has about 1,395 museums, and Mexico City has the most of any city in the country, about 160, including the National Museum of Anthropology and the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The figures change with each update, but these are the ones the exam expects.
